About Me
Jasmine Marshall was born and raised in the small town of Monroe, La. She graduated as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2020, and currently works as the Anatomy Lab Supervisor at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine while volunteering at several community gardens as a pollinator gardener.
Passion for community service developed during her undergraduate years at the University of Louisiana Monroe where she served as President, Vice President, and many other smaller roles within the Kappa Theta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
She now runs The Butterfly Blogs and partners with her brother, owner of Taynylei Plant-ery. Together they work to inspire people to grow their own food and learn ways to save pollinators like the beautiful Monarch butterfly.
