About Me
Jasmine Marshall was born and raised in the small town of Monroe, La. She graduated as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2020 and currently serves as the Anatomy Lab Supervisor at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine while raising butterflies and educating others about science in her free time.
Passion for community service developed during her undergraduate years at the University of Louisiana Monroe where she served as President, Vice President, and many other smaller roles within the Kappa Theta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She now runs this nature blog and “Jas from the Lab” a project that aims to expose area students to many disciplines in science including Medical Lab, Entomology, and Anatomy.
